Frugal Coupon Mom of Tallahassee

Guess what, Tallahassee? Frugalcouponmom was just featured on WCTV for her excellent skills in organizing coupons and saving money for her family. She left her job to be a stay at home mom and has had to find a way to save a good amount of money for her family.

You can view her blog here http://frugalcouponliving.com for great ideas and deals. The news has also reported that she will soon be teaching a free class on how she does it, so keep checking her blog for details. I will post details for you once they become available.

More coupon blogs, websites, etc to come as well as other helpful tips for moms.

(Update June 2010): Just read a great article about FrugalCouponMom who is now Frugal Coupon Living in Tallahassee Woman magazine (Apr/May 2010 issue).

Why I Like Dish Network

I think that having Dish Network is a big improvement over the cable service that our family once had. We are a family of four and have different tastes in programming. I love to watch sitcoms and movies. My husband enjoys sports. My daughters love to watch SpongeBob and Disney channel. Yes, we can watch all of this on cable, however, we had to pay more for less quality. Our cable package did not deliver the best picture quality, which is why my husband wanted satellite tv. My problem with cable service was the price! When I compared the channel lineup we were paying for to a similar package with Dish Network, I found the cable to be way too expensive. We decided to have Dish Network installed and we love the difference. He loves the sound and picture and I love the price. The kids are more than happy to have options of watching Disney East or Disney West. The same with Nickelodeon. We’re all sold. I decided to become affiliated with Dish Network to help spread the word to other moms who might welcome the same change in their home. We do get local channels and we have not had service interruption problems, which we had pretty often with our cable service.

Here is where I introduce the free DVR they will install for you, free of charge with your system installation. The DVR is the greatest thing since the VCR and it is better. It offers a simple way to record programs you love to watch so that you never have to miss them again. We type in the names of our favorite shows or movies, and the next time they come on, they will be recorded and saved for us to watch as often as we want. You may never need to rent or buy a movie again!

Right now, Dish Network is offering free professional installation, free HBO/Starz for 3 months, Cinemax for 12 months for 1 penny, $50 credit on your first bill and free activation. You can take a look at what Dish Network has to offer and schedule your free installation by clicking here.
