Dental and Vision Plan

Many who have benefits at work, are not offered a good dental and vision plan by their employer. Many employers do offer excellent health plans, but do not compensate anything for dental care. How about those who are self employed or just need a dental and vision plan to cover their routine costs? Try taking a look at what this company has to offer. This is a website that I use to refer my readers to a great company that offers low cost, discount dental plans. They have been in business since 1999 and have thousands of satisfied customers.

They are running a special offer now where you will get an additional 3 months free with any dental plan purchase, so you get 15 months to try it out! You can go to the website to look at your zip code and see what dentists and what plans are currently available. Annual plan costs start at $79.95 and you can get individual or family coverage. You can also visit the website for member testimonials.

Are you looking for additional benefits like vision or prescription savings? You can visit Lower Dental for that too! Current individual vision savings plans start at $29.95 a year and offer over 12,000 participating eye care locations across the country.

Why I Like Dish Network

I think that having Dish Network is a big improvement over the cable service that our family once had. We are a family of four and have different tastes in programming. I love to watch sitcoms and movies. My husband enjoys sports. My daughters love to watch SpongeBob and Disney channel. Yes, we can watch all of this on cable, however, we had to pay more for less quality. Our cable package did not deliver the best picture quality, which is why my husband wanted satellite tv. My problem with cable service was the price! When I compared the channel lineup we were paying for to a similar package with Dish Network, I found the cable to be way too expensive. We decided to have Dish Network installed and we love the difference. He loves the sound and picture and I love the price. The kids are more than happy to have options of watching Disney East or Disney West. The same with Nickelodeon. We’re all sold. I decided to become affiliated with Dish Network to help spread the word to other moms who might welcome the same change in their home. We do get local channels and we have not had service interruption problems, which we had pretty often with our cable service.

Here is where I introduce the free DVR they will install for you, free of charge with your system installation. The DVR is the greatest thing since the VCR and it is better. It offers a simple way to record programs you love to watch so that you never have to miss them again. We type in the names of our favorite shows or movies, and the next time they come on, they will be recorded and saved for us to watch as often as we want. You may never need to rent or buy a movie again!

Right now, Dish Network is offering free professional installation, free HBO/Starz for 3 months, Cinemax for 12 months for 1 penny, $50 credit on your first bill and free activation. You can take a look at what Dish Network has to offer and schedule your free installation by clicking here.

Social Media and Online Businesses

I have just joined some social media websites, like Facebook and Twitter. These seem to be essential for moms who are struggling to make their online business presence known.

On Facebook, you can find other people you know by email address or the “People You May Know” tool and you can find old classmates, co-workers or just groups that interest you, including networking online. I joined blindly not knowing what to expect and found several people I know are already on there. Friends, co-workers and classmates alike. It is a great tool for your business too so join for free.

Twitter is awesome because you can find tons of moms online who have their own business or who have websites about parenting, budgeting, gardening, beauty, anything you want to know more about. I look forward to networking with these moms and learning how to manage my busy life. There is even a “twittermoms” site so that we can network with each other and cut out the extra stuff.

There is also Stumbleupon which is the easiest, most useful website to use for bookmarking your favorite websites. If you tend to bookmark websites that involve how to get organized, you can find others looking for the same type of website. If you are looking for ways to budget your grocery costs, there are websites bookmarked for that too. There are websites for anything you can think of here.

I will be back to post more on how these websites work and how to incorporate them into your business, but for now just join and start building a network of people who like what you like. You might decide not to ever use it for business.

I have many friends who have tried network marketing over the years and did not make much money because they don’t have a “business” sense and don’t know how to market. Try social media because you can meet many people online who are interested in what you have to offer and you don’t have to count on offline marketing.

Once I figure out more about how this works, I’ll post my social media links for you.
